Unfortunately, that is not a Service that Garden State Pet Sitting currently offers. For such Services, we recommend finding a Pet Boarding Facility that will let you visit on-site prior to Booking, to ensure the best environment for your pets.

For overnight stays, the pet sitter will stay at your home for the majority of the day, only leaving the home for a maximum amount of hours that the client is comfortable with. The Pet Sitter does stay overnight.

Bookings are on a first come, first served basis, as long as we have had our Phone and In-Person Consultations. Bookings do fill up quickly, so we advise at least 3 month’s notice, but we will try to accommodate you with shorter notice, if possible. We recommend reaching out ASAP if you are interested in Booking with Garden State Pet Sitting.

The following are required to complete all bookings. You can still start the booking process in the meantime, but proof of vaccines must be submitted prior to finalizing your booking.

• Da2pp Vaccine for Canines
• FVRCP Vaccine for Felines
• Rabies Vaccine for pets, as required by the State of New Jersey
• Canines and Outdoor Felines are required to be on Flea/Tick Prevention

Optional, but highly recommended:

• Bordatella Vaccine for Canines
• Flea/Tick Prevention for Indoor Felines

Primarily we serve Central New Jersey but are happy to care for pets within one hour of Asbury Park, New Jersey. If you live outside of this area, we may be able to accommodate you- reach out to discuss. Additional fees for travel may apply.

You can cancel at any time before 30 days of your scheduled booking for a full refund minus the 20% non-refundable deposit required at the time of booking. However, canceling within 30 days of the start of service date will result in a charge of 50% of the remainder due to Garden State Pet Sitting. Cancelling within 15 days of the start of service date will require 100% of the remainder due to be paid to Garden State Pet Sitting.

Primarily we care for canines and felines but are happy to discuss caring for exotic pets and farm animals. Please reach out if you have questions regarding other types of pets.

Our services include everything your pet needs to stay happy and well cared for while you’re away such as walks, enrichment, feedings, etc. You’ll also receive daily photo and video updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in good hands. Routine home care such as bringing in the mail, taking out the garbage and recycling, and caring for your indoor plants is also included.

For overnight stays, the standard arrival time is 10:00am and the standard departure time is 12:00pm the following or last day of service. If you require an early arrival or late departure, please discuss this upon booking. Please note that additional fees may be applied for such requests.
